Early Life and Education
Linda was born on June 5, 1955, in Springfield, Illinois. She grew up in a close-knit family and was the youngest of three siblings. Linda was an excellent student and graduated from Springfield High School in 1973. She went on to attend the University of Illinois, where she earned a degree in Business Administration.
Career and Family
After college, Linda worked as a financial analyst for several years before taking a break to start a family. She married her high school sweetheart, John, and they had two children, Sarah and Michael. Linda was an amazing mother and devoted herself to her family.
Linda was also heavily involved in her community. She volunteered at her children’s school, organized charity events, and served on several community boards. Linda was passionate about giving back and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Linda had many personal interests, including gardening, reading, and traveling. She was an avid gardener and spent many hours tending to her flowers and vegetables. Linda was also a bookworm and loved nothing more than curling up with a good book. She and John enjoyed traveling and exploring new places together.
Illness and Passing
In 2022, Linda was diagnosed with cancer. Despite undergoing treatment, her condition worsened, and she passed away on May 12, 2023. Linda was surrounded by her family and loved ones at the time of her passing.
Linda’s legacy lives on through her family, friends, and community. She touched the lives of so many people and made a lasting impact. Linda will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit.
A memorial service for Linda will be held on May 20, 2023, at the First Presbyterian Church in Springfield, Illinois. Family and friends are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
